Guest guest
Hi Carol... Since carrots are just plain good for you, I think I can step out on a ledge and interpret what that sentence was supposed to mean, and if I am wrong- no harm will be done... The beta carotene in baby carrots is more absorable than the beta carotene found in adult carrots- perhaps because they are less woody, and fibrous??? But over all carrots have more available/absorbable beta carotene than other sources- what those sources are they leave no hint- I am thinking maybe a synthetic vitamin pill... But the lesson being- eat your carrots... Best Wishes, Misty http://www..com , " Carol Minnick " <carolminnick@a...> wrote: > Misity - > > Do you have any idea what that " tip " means in item #1? " Baby carrots > beta-carotene is more absorbable then regular carrots and carrots > beta-carotene is 500% more absorbable. " This sentence makes no sense to me. >
