Guest guest
I have a couple of acupressure-type suggestions for you if you're interested Ange. These come from TBM (Total Body Modification). They have a two-point energy circuit that works awesome for giving a boost. It is run by rubbing approximately 3 inches below the armpit on the left side for 20-30 seconds, then pulling out your ears moving around the entire wing and just pulling away from your head for another 20-30 seconds. It is subtle, but it does have the effect of waking you up and giving you energy. It is actually for Jet Lag - if you do the technique before you get off the plane (unless you're immediately going to sleep) it resets the biological clock to local time. If you're going straight to the hotel and to bed after you get off the plane, then you do it first thing in the morning, before getting out of bed. It works also for setting a baby's biological clock right if they have days and nights mixed up. My husband used it to help him stay awake and alert during a long drive from Tucson to Salt Lake where he was up for more than 24 hours straight. For sleep, you may want to try rubbing the top of your head with the palm of your hand in a circle for a minute or two. For me, when I've done that, it's like a time clock - 20 minutes later I cannot stay awake no matter how hard I try (missed the last 5 minutes of movies lots because I rubbed too soon).
