Guest guest
So on this same subject - does anyone have a recommendation for a water purifier for their home? At a health fair recently, in a drawing, I won a Shaklee brand of purifier - very much like a PUR, where you pour the water into a filter in a pitcher. I'm guessing that it takes out some bad stuff, but not anywhere near all that should be taken out. I used to buy reverse osmosis at the machine in our health food store, but the company who owned it came and took it away, so now I have no more source for that type of water, but I did love it. But I just hate the concept of it, where it wastes so much water - I think you lose about 2 gallons of " waste " water for every gallon of good. I have a friend who has that system in her home, and she saves the waste water for flushing the toilet, but that seems like too much of a bother to me.
