Guest guest
Meg & Sarah, Check out these websites. I also get ill from chemicals, perfumes, pine sol.. etc.. I am amazed at the amount of chemicals people pour allover their bodies and use in their houses but also have a NO SMOKING sign... I can take smoke if there is ventilation, but not scents. Church is unreal, 200 people with every different smell imaginable, they don't have a clue about people with sensitivities!! Anyway, there are companies in the US that are wonderful, you just have to read the labels. I used to think anything bought at the HFS was safe. ha..ha.. Guest guest
Yes, it is very difficult to find body care products without added chemicals. Even many brands found in the health food store contain harmful chemicals but their labels are greenwashed to make you think otherwise. You can indeed make your own chemical free products. Two good books which discuss the chemical issue and also contain home recipes are " Drop Dead Gorgeous " and " Beauty to Die For " I have also discovered a company in Australia that makes certified organic skin and body care products The organic certification assures that at least 95% ot the product is organic and there are no toxic chemicals If anyone is interested in more information about this Austalian company, feel free to email me off list. Sincerely, Cheryl Rounds www.shopblissfullyorganic.com
