Guest guest
Toxic mold is no joke! I lived in an apartment with a serious water leak that the management ignored for 3 years. My husband got advanced emphysema overnight. X-ray showed a " strange mist " in his lungs. Docs puzzled by it. He died about a year ago of a stroke. I got toxic encephalopathy in that apartment. Couldn't find a lawyer willing to sue apartment complex. All the while, doctors insisted there was no such thing as toxic mold and wrote " psychiatric " on my medical records, but not on my husband's. Years ago, they would have wrote " hysterical " on a woman's medical record. I'm amazed and disgusted that they are still refusing to accept that there is a such thing as toxic mold. I am inclined to believe the building materials being used are so heavily treated with chemicals nowadays, including fireproofing, bug-proofing, etc. that ordinary molds have mutated into toxic molds. " Better life through chemistry " is the old mantra. Bottom line is we both got VERY sick in that leaky, water-laden apartment. Now, he's dead and I'm still very sick one year after moving out of there. Betsy Misty L. Trepke " <mistytrepke wrote: Comments? Misty L. Trepke http://health.
