Guest guest
The literal Chinese translation is " licentious goat weed, " by the way... It's use for kidney aliments goes back over 1500 years. There are 5 varieties that are used medicinally with slightly varying properties, but overall work pretty much the same. Sticks in my head there are 12 or 13 varieties all told. Having late stage kidney cancer, it has been a staple for several years now. My wife seems to prefer the literal translation for some unkown reason.
