Guest guest
I didn't refer to Stevia as an artificial sweetner. I've found it's a good idea to read people's posts with care as our minds often pull only select words and infer meaning about a post without fully reading the post, when we're passionate about a subject as is obvious that you are about this particular subject and rightly so. Also, it's a good idea to use capitalized words with care as they can be inferred as anger or authoritarianism as well as simply placing emphasis on a word. I'm glad to hear you've had good luck with Stevia. I use the liquid extract in my coffe, tea and yogurt. I've been using it for about 5 years now as I've weened myself off of artificial sweetners and white sugar. For someone like myself who've dealt with blood sugar issues for years, it's a miracle herb! I use honey, molasses, maple syrup and rice bran syrup and raw sugar on a rare occasion, if I need a sweetner that will thicken my dish or add some bulk. I'm thinking of getting a cookbook to learn how to bake with Stevia. Have you had any luck baking with it? God bless, Leslie > Stevia is NOT artificial, its an herb. It has no effect on your blood sugar levels, does not cause hunger, > in fact it assists with reducing your craving for sugar. I have been using stevia in the raw form since the late 1980's and more recently the liquid and powdered extracts as well as the fresh herb with absolutely no negative > effects.
