Guest guest
[visionworksusa.com] Honey Can Prevent the Need for Amputation for Diabetics A doctor at the University of Wisconsin who helped about half a dozen of her diabetic patients avoid amputation has launched a controlled trial to promote the widespread use of honey therapy. The therapy involves squeezing a thick layer of honey onto the wound after dead skin and bacteria have been removed. The honey kills bacteria because it is acidic and avoids the complication of bacterial resistance found with standard antibiotics, Jennifer Eddy, a professor at the University's School of Medicine and Public Health, told AFP. " This is a tremendously important issue for world health, " Eddy said. Diabetics typically have poor circulation and decreased ability to fight infection and ulcers can be hard to treat. An amputation is performed every 30 seconds somewhere in the world, Eddy said. Honey therapy is already used to treat bed sores in New Zealand and as an alternative form of medicine in Europe, but has largely been relegated to history books in the United States. David *************** My site is back up...can read about HealonPF here: http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/Newsletters/06_Dec.htm#Miracle_ The difference between this guy's creams and others, is that he can give away his formulas and no one will have even half the results he gets because he spent years developing methods of pulling the good stuff from herbs w/o high heat. He makes these products in his home, and I've never seen results like his on anything. My first introduction to his products was when he sent me a jar of SugarFoot. It arrived while I had a deep "crack" in the dry skin on my heal and it was painful to walk. I used it, and by morning, the pain was gone. Then, one day while typing away on a hot summer day, my armpits began to burn. I went and looked in the mirror and discovered a very painful (men don't shave there) heat rash. I washed it with cool water, applied the sugar foot and the pain was gone in less than a minute...and I went back to typing. If this guy ever appears on Oprah, he'll be a billionaire.
