Ralph Moss (ralphmoss.com):

" I have been asked by the University of Michigan's press office to point

out that their clinical trial of cryoablation for breast cancer also

requires surgery three to four weeks after the procedure. I am unaware

of any center currently using cryoablation alone as a breast cancer

treatment. It has been seven years since doctors at Anne Arundel Medical

Center in Annapolis showed that cryoablation was a safe and effective

method for removing small ultrasound-visible breast tumors (Tafra 2003).

The slow pace of development of this treatment is frustrating,

especially for patients who seek a way of avoiding surgery entirely. "

breast-conserving surgery for small ultrasound-visible cancers. Ann.
