MSM (methyl sulfonyl methane). Lots of it, there is no upper limit. It's

cheap, has no undesirable side effects and is good for you. Promotes great

hair, skin and nails, among other things.

Also, for the worst pain, the herb boswellia. It's a little hard to find. I

get it from

www.spicediscounters.com .

With a natural diet and the above, my GSD escaped double hip replacement

surgery.

Hello to all: Dr. Ann here. i have been following alternative health

modes for over 30 years. Sometimes I am successful, and other times i

succumb to Western medicine....<sigh>

Right now i am facing knee replacement surgery the end of Nov., and am

very upset at having to go through this. But it is necessary...NO

cartilege left in either knee.

I am in lots of pain, and was able to manage with supplements, but the

last few weeks I have had to resort to Darvocet. I HATE taking it, and

it only takes the edge off in any event.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the pain. AND for pre and post op

healing?

I have started taking CS...I dilute a dropper full into warm water. Is

that the correct way to take it?

Take Zinc before and after the surgery. But try taking

high doses of shark cartiledge and glucosamine sulfate

before the surgery and see if that does not help. The

shark cartiledge is is supposed to replace that which

is missing. I am sorry I never knew of your problem

sooner I just joined the list.

I know it will work I use it my self and a friend who

was set for hip sugery used it and avoided it

altogether.

It will take some time to replace what is gone because

I presume you have had this problem for some time.

So it will be your choice this is just my sujestion.

You'd better qualify what you mean here, Arnica is a poisonous substance.

Usually ingested in homeopathic doses or used as a external linament.

Homeopathic Arnica. My family uses it a lot. My vet even prescribed

homeopathic arnica pellets for our horse. Pat
