Dear Rebecca,

What would be a good source for somebody that has a history of blood

clotting?

EPA is found in fish - so salmon oil for someone with a blood clotting

problem wouldn't be a good idea.

Now, the best source that I know of is a product called Neuromins - and it

sold under different names and by different companies that have the licence

from Martek to make it. I think this is a good source for someone with blood

clotting problems because their DHA is derived from plant sources which do

not have EPA in them.

There is a website that lists or connects you to all the companies that make

this kind of DHA. I personally think that's a good idea then you can do a

comparison and find out which company makes it for a reasonable price. But

be careful - not all the companies have called their product Neuromins and

they may sell other sources of DHA derived from fish sources as well as the

plant one. You don't want to get them confused!

The website is:

http://www.dhadepot.com/whereto_buy.htm

BTW: I don't sell this. I'm just passing information on - hope it will help

someone.

Cheers!

I am coming in in the middle of this. I have DVT,

suffered a massive pulmonary embolism, heart attack

and septic sock because of it. I was on blood thinner

for 3 1/2 years and told I did not have to take it any

more because I have a vena cava. If you are looking

for a natural blood thinner check out bromelain. It

is an extract from pineapple and works well in my

opinion.
