I'm wary of estrogen supplements because I keep hearing about some " estrogen

dominance " theory going around... I dunno if it's true or not. But I *can* tell

you this - progesterone cream cured me of the painful dyspareunia that I'd

suffered from for four VERY long years!! Also, I'd heard that progesterone

cream helps candida go away, but estrogen irritates it and feeds it.

This is my understanding also. Estrogen increases candida and progesterone

reduces it. However, progesterone raises estrogen levels and so, perhaps that

temporarily would make a candida issue worse.

Just guessing because I am clueless. Smile.

From what I understand, a dominance in both will trigger candida - so If you

were like me, and were already dominant in Pro. taking Pro was a very bad

idea. If I take Estrogen to balance things my candida seems better...

 

Hopes this makes more sense. I will still look for the info.
