Are you still on HRT? Sulfur insuffieciency, particularly for women, can cause hair loss. NAC is one of the best of a short list of sulfur-containing supplements. Another sulfur compound, MSN is also vry helfpful. They has been known to stop hair loss and even promote hair growth. Eating more eggs and meat, the best food sources of sulfur, is also effective. I was a vegetarian for a long time and notice my hair growth has increased dramatically since I consume lots of eggs and meat.
