Dear Group,

There is an herb that no one has mentioned that is a

general tonic, mild diuretic, and, for me, has been

extremely effective in treating kidney stones. It is

called " Cleavers " . I buy it in bulk. It used to be

carried by Alvita, but doesn't seem to be anymore. The

herb is common, it grows wild all over the United

States.

About 12 years ago, I was in an airport getting ready

to fly home after going with my husband and daughter

to look at a University she wanted to attend. I

suddenly had severe pain, ended up in a hospital and

was diagnosed with kidney stones. After that episode

the pain re-occured over the space of many years until

a D.O. we knew told us to try Cleavers tea. He told me

to take three cups a day for about two weeks. The pain

was gone within hours of the first cup of tea. His

explaination was that the Cleavers dissolves away the

sharp edges of the crystals allowing you to pass them

without pain. Whatever. What I know is - it worked for

me.

Some Health Food stores carry the tea, in others you

may have to bulk order it. But it's worth a try.
