I can only tell you from my own experience what happens to me when I take too many supplements at once. That act in itself causes me to be foggy and confused. I do limit how many supplements I take at once and I divided them out during the day into the eve. I am taking: Multi B Ashawangda Vitex 40 Salmon oil Adrenal/Pituitary(dessicated) Maca Pascalite clay Ginseng Enzymes (with meals) Calcium Iron tabs At least 8 glasses of water a day. Right now that is enough for me. I'm sure there are other things out there that might help but its overwhelming for my system. Symptoms of adrenal insufficiency: First sign was weight gain over a few months, about 20 lbs(I chalked it up to my thyroid being off but was wrong) Eyes are VERY light sensitive Blood pressure test Severe temp intolerence, day and night. To the point of not sleeping but 5 min at a time Ankles and feet hurt were in pain all the time Rushes of adrenaline during the night, not to be confused with panic attacks Foggy brain No energy, I mean none, no reserves Pituitary test: off the charts Plus a few other symptoms. The frustrating part of all this was, at the point I needed most to do my research, I was so ill, I could only get ot the comp 10 min at a time. I finally have a Dr who recognized the symptoms and I started treatment. I have to say within 5 days of starting treatment I was able to sleep better which made a big difference in the way I felt. The adrenaline rushes stopped and the temp intollerence started to regulate itself. What I discovered in talking with the Dr, I may have had adrenal problems all the way back to childhood. Through the years I had some severe health difficulties off and on, which now I look at my symptoms and I was wrongly diagnosed and treated as the adreanal issues resemble other problems. Allergies to foods, sugar/sweets, lack of sleep, stress will keep you down no matter what supplements you are taking. Supplements aren't magic, they only help you if you take away the reasons why your adrenals are malfunctioning. This site has alot of good info: www.myvits.com/bodymech/bodymech-adrenals.htm Copy this article, read the prevention and correction section... Arizona, my feeling is your system may need a flushing. Have you ever tried a liver cleanse? I don't have one copied on my comp but maybe someone else can post one. H. Clarks may be on line somewhere. That might be a good start for you. I just saw another post of yours and you said you don't eat fish, fowl or meat. That would tell me you your diet might be high in carbs. Its easy to get the wrong carbs in our system. Breads, packaged foods, any sweets, etc. will not let your adrenals heal. A strict, but balanced diet needs to be followed. Balance between protein, fat, and good carbs. Hope this helps and I wish you well. Terri
