Guest guest
Hi Donna, Vitex is also known as Chaste tree berry. You want to get a good quality standardized extract, such as Nature's Herbs or Gaia. If you get a 1:1 tincture, 2-3 droppersful a day. You can split it if you want, but b/c it is a slow-acting herb, you can just take it all at once. I do 1 in the am, 1 in the pm from ovulation to menses. It is not costly; the tincture is about 7.00 and if you get 100 caps of the standardized it is 15.00 - 20.00. Let me know if you want any other info. There is a great book called Vitex: The Woman's Herb or something like that by Christopher Hobbs.
