Not according to the British 'survey's it is supposed to be good for you. 2

or 3 glasses does not seem excessive to me, when you think that 5 years ago I

was drinking 15 or so cups of coffee with sugar and milk each and every day

and some days it could be 20 - do not worry about 3 cups of tea. If you

could drink green tea that is very good for you. I have never heard anything

about lemon oil being bad for you but is 1 lemon every single day a bit

excessive - but I am a complete amateur where this is concerned.

Morning Marianne,

I use one lemon per day, either in water or tea. I still drink 2 or 3

glasses of unsweetened tea per day.

Lots of water before and after. Could this amount of tea do any harm?

What about lemon oil? Seems I picked up some information that it has

benefits, but can't recall any details.

I squeeze the cuts of lemon as hard as I possibly can. This results in

visible oil floating on the surface.

I bought a garlic crusher to crush my lemon parts with but have not used it

yet.

Anyone know any good or bad effects from lemon oil?

Jo,

Here are a couple of Cabot sites:

www.liverdoctor.com

www.doctorcabot.com

If you put her name into Google, you will find hundreds more!

---Jo,

Greetings!

I just love Sandra Cabot's book. I think it is the very best to be

had on the issue of dieting. Her " fatty liver " concept intrigues

me. :-)

Are you aware of any of her websites right offhand? She has a

weightloss site separate from her medical site, if I recall correctly.

fresh squeezed organic lemon is the best - no additives, no sugar. half a

lemon per drink is good.
