I haven't tried this yet myself as I just heard about it, but anyway... Mindy

The plan you mentioned sure sounds unhealthy, don't you think?? Pam

Probably I describe him as veggie-free because during induction (20 g carbs/day) it is difficult to load up on vegetables. And doesn't he recommend induction for at least two weeks? So, I dunno. Anyway, which part of the plan I mentioned did you think was unhealthy? The first 2 days or the third day? =) Mindy

If you knew anything about health you wouldnt ask Hi Ed, Do you say this because it has made you sick? or because it just goes against the grain of what you've always been taught? Dr. Atkins is a cardiologist and has made health his life quest and has allowed many people to live full, healthy, placque free lives. I however, I do not beleive, unless one is in imminent danger of dying and has no chance for life, that it's necessary to go to the extremes he does. I find Suzanne Sommers, Sommersize, which is based loosly on Atkins method as well as many other out-of-the-box thinkers/healers, program very easy to do, have lost weight, my nails, hair and skin, at 52 are like it was when I was in 30's and mostly my heart is now healthy again.
