Guest guest
>I really think we should find us a small continent and start over <lol> > >Sorcy Hey, I'm standing on it. Australia the smallest continent (but huge island) ; ) We have plenty of soy products in Australia that are certified organic. They are made from Australian soy. Guest guest
My family and I used to used soy products until I found that in the making of the products, in western society, the soy can become contaminated with aluminium. I found this disturbing and we converted to homemade nut milks. We all converted to a modified diet when one of my sons' was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder). I had him Vega tested (non-intrusive allergie testing) and found he was allergic (sensitive)to Lactose (all milk products), Gluten (most flours), flouride (tap water and toothpaste), colours flavours and the list went on. After a week on his modified diet he was a " different " kid and has remained so every since. I re-check him regularly at home (acupressure points) to see if he still " allergic " and so far he is almost back on a normal diet. Guest guest
There are just too many negatives associated with soy. " -Robert Frost http://www.healingcrow.com/soy/soy.html Soy: For Your Health or Their Wealth? Soy has become synonymous with healthy eating. Who hasn't heard of the marvels of soy? Even Dr. Weil has jumped onto the soy band wagon, pushing the " health benefits " of soy during a recent appearence on Larry King Live. The USDA recently approved the use of soy in our children's school lunches. But could something that sounds so healthy actually be dangerous? Before you reach for that next bite of tofu and wash it down with some great tasting soy milk, we believe you should read about the dark side of soy. Guest guest
Cindy - I think each of us has to come to our own conclusion. I have a thyroid problem and soy is an avoidance food for me. I have a friend who's husband farms acres and acres of them. They cook them like fresh beans. They seem to be ok.
