Yes I must say it was the best thing that I have done - no more worries about going out at the expected 'time' or worrying about it happening whilst I was out. I had one very nasty experience when it happened to me at work and it was a mixed, open plan office. If you are having problems that you cannot get rid of naturally, then it will be a relief to you and you will not look back after other to than to say, thank goodness I had this done. Good luck. Guest guest
I had one and I in retropect, if I had known then, what I know now, I don't care how much pain I was in, I would have looked for another solution. It was a nightmare getting my hormone situation straightened out. And those doctors make it seem so simple. I had a total hysterectomy at age 29. I am now 40. You will always have problems if you don't have a hysterectomy so it will depend on whether you can stand what you are going through now or not. The main thing would be to have the knowledge to hand prior to having surgery - this way you can be at optimum health for recovery prior to surgery and have all the essential supplements/foods to hand post surgery. Knowledge is your armour in this case and can make a great difference. I would suggest you ensure that you take precautions for the menopause if you do go ahead with surgery. I cannot help in what you need because I did not have the knowledge and I am still trying, but there are so many on this group that will have that knowledge to share with you. Wishing you the very best. Marianne > At this stage I still have to have the scan, but Im pretty certain....I > suspect, and the doctor suspects fibroids....Im 41.
