How about a good salad? I love the cobb salads- cooked chicken, bacon crumbled

(I know many think bacon is bad... I say moderation...), hard boiled eggs,

lettuce, tomatoe (again some people can have these and some cannot), avaocado,

and blue cheese if you can do dairy... very yummy and filling and somewhat

healthy... also, cut up tons of fresh veggies to munch on. make a healthy

smoothie and bring it in a container that stays cold- I use brozen fruit, plain

non-sweetened yogurt, spirulina, fresh fruits too, and ground flax seeds and

often add about 1 spoon of psyllium powder... healthy trail mix? also, find

some healthier breads for your sandwhiches and just do not eat them every day...

I have half a pack of cookies 3 times a week (work days for my lunch) but

they are ginger and supposed to be good for me was my excuse. I will make my

own in future and try different recipes to get it as healthy as I can and

stick to 2 per day - what can I take to work for my lunch which I must eat

whilst working as I do not get a break (I work only 5 hours a day and it is

all in one hit). I would take a sandwich but that is also carbs.

This would be fine for the days when I am at home but very difficult for the

office - I do not stop for lunch but eat on the run (well at my desk really).

What is brozen fruit please? I have tried the spirulina powder and it is

disgusting, I now have the tablets thanks. I am going to make my own bread

so I can have it more often I would think.

Thanks

Marianne

ROFL! Sorry, typo there. That should be frozen fruit! Sorry... I only add a

small spoon of spirulina to the smoothies and that way I get some, but do not

notice the taste at all. You could not bring a salad to your desk? As for the

smoothies, make them up ahead of time and just keep them cold, and then stir

before drinking...
