Guest guest
Hi All, I am new to this list and I need some help. I have a 11 year old daughter who is on anti-seizure medicine. At this time her meds are way off (am working with doctor to fix this) and she is like Jekyl & Hyde. This not unusual (unfortunately) for her, but I am at my witts end! Guess my patience isn't at its best right now (husband travels quite a bit) I am just getting into aromatherapy, alternative medicine etc. I guess I became interested when we went down to St. Kitts, for my Brother-in-laws wedding. His wife is very knowledgeable about aromatherapy, the use of essential oils etc. She used Rosemary oil for a migraine for husband, and it worked! But, she does not have real good access to a puter. So I thought I'd throw this at you all and see what you might come up with. Thank you. Karen in VA =====
Guest guest
Hopefully this will work for my daughter. She is 12 and she is just an amazing girl. But I really can't take too much of her. She is so mean it is not funny. She ran away last week because I asked her to help with the dishes. I am almost to the point of being disabled. My hips are so bad that at times it takes me forever to get to the bathroom. The pain is so bad, I would rather hold it then go to the restroom. And she turns from a sweet little thing to atila the hun. I really hope this helps, I will try anything at this point. Mama's little girl is turning into a spawn of Satan. LOL But, I love her no matter what. Guest guest
Her doctor wants me to put her back on Ritalin. When she was on that before, she lost so much weight that we almost had to put her in the hospital. Then we had to fight to get her weight back to were it is. Now she has an eating disorder. Thanks a lot to all the doctors for giving my daughter an eating disorder. It is not like women of this day and age have enough problems, we just have to add more to the wide range of crap they already go through. Sorry, got off track, I just get really mad at people now adays when I even think of Ritalin. Guest guest
Not that I want to be nosy, but what is the problem with your hips...have you tried aromatherapy for the pain...are you taking any meds?...have you been diagnosed with arthritis or what...you have me wondering now if there is any help for you...I remember what it is like having young ones...thank God mine are grown now...my son is 22 and my daughter is 20, but still she can be moody and I had a lot of problems with her attitude when she was younger...I know it can be very difficult and if you have health problems on top of it it is a double whammy...The best advice I can give anyone with younger children hitting puberty is STAY CALM...cause you are probably the only one with any wits about you at the time...kids hormones are just too wacky...I hope the blend works as well for you as it does for my sister...In the meantime, work on yourself and make sure you take time for you to relax...the Chamomile/Lavender blend is good for you too, but make it a little stronger, anywhere between 2-5% dilution will be safe...Usually people go for 2.5% so try that to start usually a little is better than too much Hope this helps Keep your chin up...you'll pull through it alright and she will turn into a beautiful woman and it will be worth it all.... Guest guest
What does white flour have to do with it? And yes, she is on a limited sugar diet. I have found that if I take all her sugar out of her diet she freaks. But I do control her diet. She is limited with dairy also.
