I " diffuse " several ways, from spritzing to putting oils on cotton balls and placing them strategically, but when I am serious...I use the " DIFFUSER " . Mine is for a larger area, but I am also looking to buy several more to place in each room..it will make it easier on me..an the big one will go downstairs Namaste~! It covers up to 1000 sq ft. If you were using for large sq footage you would let it diffuser 15 to 30 minutes at a time to start..or it can run continously (which I never do). I have looked at the smaller room size " cold air diffusers " (which is my preference), but so many of them are loaded with plastic parts, which doesn't seem to be cost effective in the long run. The cold air diffusers are the most effective in my opinion. It is amazing though - yesterday I had my honey give me a massage for some aches in my back area, and HOURS later walking in my bedroom the " aroma " hung in the air!! It takes just a LITTLE to get a lot of effect~ to me that is the secret of effective use of essential oils - you don't need tons! They are amazing!
