They will also have a longer shelf-life. They *are* hard to find however. At least *I* have trouble finding good sources for steam distilled citrus. One other thing with citrus oils ... (steam distilled); They are *supposed* to not smell nearly as beautful, bountiful, brisk as the cold pressed counterpart. Unfortunately (for me / BU) I have *very little* opportunities to " meet " more than a few steam distilled limes (which I LOVE) and a couple steam distilled mandarins.
