Guest guest
Hi everyone I am a full-time carer for my husband who has been diagnosed so far with Hashimotos (thyroid), oesophagitis, Fibromyalgia, he is being tested for MS (multiple sceloris) at present and this is looking a likely diagnosis or a similar neuro problem. I am wondering if you can help re sleep problems. He sleeps a lot during the day and at night, but is in a constant dream state, does not achieve that deep sleep, he has been having nightmares and very frustrating dreams which he is waking up sweating and scared from, I was wondering if you had any suggestions? I would appreciate any help, advice? Thanks Nerys
Guest guest
Have you tried Valarian? Is he able to swallow? Sounds lke his sleep problems are related to the fibromyalgia. I heard there was a really great book on the market written by a woman, who recommends some herbal remedies (its about dealing with fibromyalgia), as far as aromatherapy, Chamomile is very sweet smelling, but good, Lavender oil is very nice...I wish you well. --- R & N Welch <nerick wrote: > Hi everyone > I am a full-time carer for my husband who has been > diagnosed so far with Hashimotos (thyroid), > oesophagitis, Fibromyalgia, he is being tested for > MS (multiple sceloris) at present and this is > looking a likely diagnosis or a similar neuro > problem. > I am wondering if you can help re sleep problems. Guest guest
I wonder is he on any medications - or a variety of them - for his illnesses? Many medications can cause nightmares and sleep problems. I'm sure the list will be lots of help (Rhavda? Helen?) in sleepy suggestions, but I think medications are a key point, too. You may need to share this info, so things don't clash. Wishing you many good things --- Sherri Rachel wrote: >> Nightmares he has been having nightmares and very frustrating dreams which he is waking up sweating and scared from, I was wondering if you had any suggestions?>>
