Hi Nerys

Traditionally, frankincense is recommended for nightmares - it's sedative too

and

would mix well with the valerian, camomile or lavender that Claire mentioned.

They'd all promote a deep sleep.

I wish you well too.

Hi Nerys (and all members).

I hope you're holding up well. Be sure to take care of your own needs too

(sleep, nutrition, etc).

My suggestion for what you can do for your husband is to a couple of drops of

lavender oil on his pillow. For me, it promotes deep breathing.

With that, I offer another suggestion to take with the lavender. Monitor what

he takes in visually and aurally before going to sleep. If it's the news, try

to get him to not watch it before bed. What you take in before bed should be

positive, and the news is full of negative, as we all know.

I also think that thinking positive thoughts, with the help of affirmations

before bed, might be of great help.

Best wishes.

Dave

Hi Nerys.

Have you asked the doctor(s) about a very low dose of melatonin? As

for oils, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Mandarin/Tangerine (for a feeling

of well being), Rose (?), Geranium, Peppermint (to uplift the

spirits).

Try this:

12 drops Orange, 8 drops Lavender, 4 drops Bergamot, 3 drops

Geranium, 2 drops Roman Chamomile. Mix in 1/2 to 1 ounce of Massage

Oil Base. Apply to feet using gentle strokes and/or Reflexology

techniques.

Hope this helps.
