Guest guest
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new members. I am starting to get a little concerned about the list. There has been a drastic drop in the mount of postings. Considering that we have many new members I really would like to know how to improve the list. In the past I have asked and never got a response from anyone. I have and am still working very hard on this list and will continue to do so as long as this list keeps running. I am hoping that all of you will do your part in keeping the list up. Guest guest
Hi Tracy The list has been a bit quite of late don't know why. Personally have been tied up with getting a virus on my computer and getting that fixed and am in the middle of a busy month of trying to find out what is wrong with my husband and get a diagnosis. Thanks for everyones helpful advice for his nightmares, will let you know how is tests go and if they find out if it is Multiple sceloris. Maybe we need to pick a subject for the week to get it going again, I like the lets talk about...a certain oil, or a particular problem and everyone pitch in with what they know. I think it is a vicious circle in that people see no-one else posting and get shy about posting their questions. Hope things pick up, Let me know if I can be of any help, i.e. send tips etc. to the list Thanks for your effort Nerys
Guest guest
I beleive we are all busy in our gardens, drunk on the aroma of the clary sage, or busy making lemon balm wine. We promise to do better! Guest guest
Neyrs, my prayers are with you for you and your husband. The unknown is always a deep concern. Let us know how we can support you. I would vote to have someone share an issue they need suggestions and recommendations for; and, if this does not create responses lets take an oil a week. Thanks for all your efforts. Linda S. Guest guest
Hi Tracy. I am pretty new to the list (thanks for the welcome) so have not been around long enough to give advice on how to improve the list. When it comes to Aroatherapy, I am a complete beginner although I do understand the concept behind Aromachology. I have a couple of books on Aromatherapy and the oils, but that sometimes leaves me more confused because so many of the oils can be used for the same problem. I am in the process of developing lotions and creams and see this as an area where essential oils could be beneficial. I would love to see some discussion on blending oils for different skin types and different skin conditions that could be used in a lotion or cream. The lotion or cream would need to be affordable so cost of the oils is a factor to keep in mind. I hope this topic hasn't been discussed to death in previous months:-) TIA to anyone who has any input. Pat. Peace, Joy, Serenity
