Guest guest
Hi all; Mary Ann here from MN. (Yes I'm freezing tonight). I'm a new r and I would like to ask some questions that most likely have been asked before. With so many " experts " out there, how does one find really good quality oils? Not synthinics. Is there any standards at all that the consumer can rely on? How can you tell if the oils are 100% or mixed with a carrier to add volume? Maybe in Europe where some standards do apply is where oils should be obtained from...e-mail me personally if you have some sites and addresses. My mother(79)has Shy-Drager with Parkinson symptoms. I massage her 3 times a week. I use grape seed oil and then apply birch oil for her pain. I have no way of knowing if the birch is a good quality other than the company says it is. Mom says she feels better. I use a couple other oils on her also. I'm not sure if I should be using relaxing oils or stimulant oils. Mom's body gets so rigid and stiff, especially her neck. I also would like to get a good foot and hand chart on reflexology. I'm not trained in massage but I'm a daughter trying my best to make my mother feel as good as she possably can for as long as possible. Thanks...Mary Ann
