Guest guest
I have a request -- the banner advertising some credit card is the first thing I have to scroll through on the digests. I understand banners and their worth but wonder if the banner couldn't go at the end of the digests instead of the beginning? Just a thought. Thanks for considering it. Guest guest
Tracy, I want to share some information from another list. Some people were diffusing or wearing oils in their workplace. One woman uses peppermint or lemon in her post office, most like it. Some others have had complaints from co workers. Some people have fears of smells since they are allergic to most and may have real or imagined reactions. People who have a problem with the oils are thought to be those who are most toxic. High frequency oils such as YoungLivings Joy is not easily accepted by the population. Those most toxic seem to dislike the smell, or are reacting to the frequency. Some people suggested putting the oils on the feet, and then putting on the socks and shoes thinking smells would not be as easily detected. A doctor has a son who is autistic and finds the oils beneficial. she had to go to the school board and have a teacher transferred so that her son could use these in school. the teacher was complaining that the smell was making her sick. Hope the information is though provoking. Guest guest
Dear Donna, I have a question for you. How do you determine the frequency of an essential oil? I have been asking that question of YL people for over 10 years without having an answer given. You might want to see if your upline knows this and if so, would you please share this information with us on the list? I still have this inquiring mind after all these years because somewhere along the way I believe that I have read that there is not a way to test frequencies for essential oils. It seems that the tools have not been developed yet in the industry to do this. Now, according to some of the herbalists?aromatherapists that I have talked with, pH is much easier to find than frequency. Just an inquiring question to be researched. Thank you. Guest guest
Ysha, I would be interested in flying in from California, would it be a weekend thing? Please keep me in the loop. By the way, I bathed my son with a warm oil massage and then the gram flour paste. He giggled through it and his skin was so soft afterwards. The advice about how to set it up was useful. I will try the oil in ears and nose next time... Thanks for all the help! Warmly, Shannon Staloch, CD Nourished " Feeding the Whole Mother " 408-295-4471 805-291-1382 (cell) How low will we go? Guest guest
Dear Shannon; Please see the curriculum at www.sacredwindow.com in the training section, it is currently about 120 hours in total if taken in the way we have been training so far, in workshop intensives etc. The model I proposed allows you to read and study first, not having to be away from home with the initial learning. For hands on, it will depend on your other ayurvedic clinical skills/background how many weeks' internship in residence is needed, about 2-4 is my projection. Note that first step is either in residence or correspondence study in ayurvedic fundamentals over 4 weekends or equivalent, many sources in the US. then we go into the AyurDoula specific material. Let me know how you are doing with the foundations? > I would be interested in flying in from California, would it be a weekend thing? Please keep me in the loop. > With a little one at home, oh what fun and what a big commitment for you right now! Thank you for sharing, may I share your experience with others? > By the way, I bathed my son with a warm oil massage and then the gram flour paste.
