:Shree Hari:Baisakh Krishna Pratipada, Vikram Samvat 2063, Shukravar 14th April, 2006, FridayRam RamGist of the pravachan given by Swami Ramsukhdasji on 27.12.1990 at 5 a.m: Attainment of worldly things is a separate process as compared to the attainment of God. Worldly things have to be created, have to be got from somewhere. God does not have to be created, does not have to be got from anywhere. The process is different. God is present at all times and at all places. We just have to take our sight towards Him.Only God is ours. Our relation with Him is eternal. We were always His, are always His, will always be His. The relation with Him does not have to be created. it just has to be accepted. We listen and understand but do not believe and accept. God has already accepted us as His - only the acceptance from our side is missing. Two Processes - World and GodI have said this a number of times -

the process of attaining God and attaining the world are separate. The same rules do not apply. Most have accepted that God attainment will take a lot of time. It will happen slowly. God has Himself clearly stated in the Gita that 'I reciprocate the feeling of the devotee' (Gita 4:11). So, it is like we are under a wishing tree - where all our wishes are fulfilled. We accept that it will take time - so it takes time. God is not dependent on place, time, capability. He is right here right now. So where is the question of any delay. We just have to take our sight towards Him. It takes time to create something. What is already existing - where is the question of any delay. You hear what is being said but do not believe it. Even if what I say is wrong, there is no loss in believing it because if it is wrong - it will take time, but if it is right - it is such a great loss for you.Q. Do we have to make a relation with God first or renounce worldly

desires?A. You have heard me for so long and still you ask me a question of making a relation with God. Our relation with God is eternal. It does not have to be made. It is not something that is created. God has already accepted you as His own. You are exclusively His. The acceptance from your side is only what is missing. When God has said that you are His (Gita 15:7), the acceptance from our side is only missing. Another assumption is that 'I cannot attain God'. Swamiji can do it, saints can do it but not I. This is something that each and everyone can do. There is no one who is not entitled to attain God. He already is ours, whether we accept Him as our or not. Even if you do not accept Him as yours, accept that He has accepted you as His. By this acceptance also all your sorrows will disappear. A child may disown his mother, but a mother cannot disown her child. God has accepted us as His. Only we need to do it. The body belongs to the

world - apply it in its service. The Self belongs to God - apply it in His service. Whatever has been received will separate. We desire what has been created - what is not ours - what has come after we have come. What will certainly separate from us. You know this fact but do not give it importance. To send a letter from one place to another you need to pay postage, but to go to God - no postage is required. You are His - accept it.Ram RamFor full pravachans in Hindi please visit www.swamiramsukhdasji.org "Our ideal is not the spirituality that withdraws from life but the conquest of life by the power of the spirit." - Aurobindo.

Thanks Jagannath - this is so good to read - can we have more like this to reduce the burden of the other posts which are so depressing! I am sure you have many more beautiful texts up your sleeve! I would love a few more of Swami Ramdev's teachings too and Sri Aurobindo - the former is not known here at all
