Guest guest
Shree Hari:Baisakh Krishna Dwitiya, Vikram Samvat 2063, Shanivar 15th April, 2006, SaturdayRam RamGist of the pravachan given by Swami Ramsukhdasji on 5.6.1989 at 5 a.m: To know God we have to accept His existence. The creation cannot know the creator till the creator does no disclose himself to the creator. None of us can know our parents till such time as they tell us so. God will disclose Himself once we truly accept. To know Him we have to accept Him first - and there is no way we can not accept His existence. A child cannot exist without the existence of a mother. This universe certainly has a creator. That is God. To attain God - only a true desire - a longing is required. He is not dependant on actions. He is present always and everywhere. He appears by your love. You have to have an exclusive desire for Him only - and He will appear. To Know God - Accept His ExistenceGod IS. This is not a topic that can be comprehended by the intellect. It has to be accepted. A bigger object cannot fit in a small container. The brain is very small as compared to God. You have to accept this fact. The important thing is acceptance. We have accepted our existence. Similarly, we have to accept the existence of God. 'I am' so there are my parents. There cannot be a creation without a creator. If there is a creation, there is a creator. The creator of the sun, moon, stars, sky is God. If there is a picture, there is a painter. So, there is a creator of the universe. The creation cannot know the creator - it has to accept the existence of the creator - because it exists. If you are, mother is. You cannot say that you do not have a mother. You have to accept that there is a creator if there is a creation. No man is capable of creating this universe. There is someone much more exceptional. Saints tell us that there is God, scriptures tell us that there is God. There is no doubt. He certainly is there. We see the effect of the presence of God in so many things. There is exceptionality in those who have attained God. If we are feeling sad and have suffered a tragedy, we get peace by sitting in satsang. These things prove without doubt that God exists. There is something that makes a difference. You have to accept this fact. Accept firmly - God IS. God is attainable. God is attainable by me. God is mine. Take shelter at His feet. There is tremendous gain. The human life is only for this purpose. In no other form of life can you go towards God on your own. You do not have the ability or capability. This is such a great opportunity that you have received. If you lose it you do not know when will you get it again. You cannot attain God so easily in other lives. You stay next to the Ganges - so going to the Ganges is so easy for you. If you were far away you would not be able to go. God is easily attainable in this life. God cannot be produced. He is not a subject of your efforts. He is attained by acceptance. He is for all. Each and everyone can attain Him. Have exclusive devotion. Only one determined goal. Even the vilest sinner can attain Him - once he firmly decides (Gita 9:30-31). He becomes a mahatma very quickly. You should not have to do bhajan (devotion) - it should happen naturally. It should feel nice - you should love it - want it - long for it. Only a true desire is required to attain God - no effort.Ram RamFor full pravachans in Hindi please visit www.swamiramsukhdasji.org "Our ideal is not the spirituality that withdraws from life but the conquest of life by the power of the spirit." - Aurobindo. Guest guest
Don't worry friends. Whether one accepts Him or not, He resides inside each one of us. Whether they recognise their father or not, the father remains the father having brought the children into this world. Hari Om! Amen. S. M.
