Guest guest
Get some extra bucks, go to the junk yard, and buy a “good” engine out of a totaled car. Make the necessary adaptations, attach the engine to a good base (like the motor mounts in a car), and put a generator on it rather than an alternator. Generate the electricity for your home. Engine would probably be much cheaper than a whole car. One could get the technique down pat in an inexpensive way, and find whether it will work for oneself or not. Then check it out with the work vehicle. Could play around with lawn mower engines as well, so long as you have the battery source in order to separate the water into h and o.
