But the moment it was in the hands of dirty politicians it became controversial. Vande Mataram Now; 4. It is most unfortunate that a song inspiring freedom fighters is being exploited by “Crooks, Corrupt, Thugs, Incompetent, Untrustworthy & Criminal” politicians. 5. It is an insult to freedom fighters when politicians Arjun Singh or Narinder Modi publicly sing this song who never envisaged people they threw out will be replaced by even worse

exploiter of our people that will take commissions in even in defense deals and buy substandard weapons and outdated ammunition. 6. Foreign Rulers, Rajas, Jamindars have been replaced by Politicians, Commission Agents and Moneylenders. Vande Mataram Future; 7. Young people in India may Vande Mataram and other patriotic songs that inspire them to fight exploiters of people. 8. Goal of the young generation ought to be to defeat every exploiter, crook and criminal in public life.
