‘Schizophrenia’ is a state of mind and a result of deep

thinking on a particular area, and the vision differs. Aldus Huxley, Newton, Nash all had ‘Schizophrenia’

and were ‘treated’ by so called psychiatrists which was not even an

illness. John Nash (Nobel Laureate for Economics) said about how psychiatrists were

unable to understand him. After his mental retardation, he then became a normal

person, and got a Nobel. This ia

problem that now the judgment is made by mentally retarded persons and for a

conformist society, it is a norm.

By psychiatric standard, lord Shiva after achieving an unusual state of

realization has no same life as do others. That cannot be labeled as a disease.

LONDON

- Mental health experts called on Monday for the term schizophrenia to be

dropped, saying it has no scientific validity, is imprecise and stigmatizing.

“It is a harmful concept,” said Marius

Romme, a visiting professor of social psychiatry at the University

of Central England in Birmingham.

He added that symptoms such as delusions, hearing

voices and hallucinations are not the results of the illness but may be

reactions to traumatic and troubling events in life.
