Guest guest
To Dr Nitin K Shah, President, Indian Association of Paediatricians, Mumbai. Dt: 14.12.2006 Dear Dr Shah, Saprem Namaste. I am very happy that you will be initiating an immunisation dialogue in the second day of Pedicon 2007 to be held in the "Sanofi Pasteur" Hall of Renaissance Hotel & Convention Centre, Powai, Mumbai from 11th to 14th January '2007. I do not of course know what will be discussed in the one hour slot allotted to this very vital issue. Anyway in addition to my earlier missives I wish to inform you about the following points also. These may not have any bearing on the outcome of the discussion but at least I will have informed you about many aspects that are usually not referred to while discussing vaccines. 1. What vaccines intend to do. ------ Vaccines seek to acquaint us with viruses, live or weakened by formaldehyde (a known carcinogen), so that we can develop immunity. This so called "immunity" is not long term and neither is it foolproof, as per a very recent article in Medscape received by me today. (...despite a highly vaccinated population, vaccine-preventable illnesses may still be seen by healthcare providers, says the article). While the Medscape article tries to utilise this obvious and well known flaw in the vaccine theory to push for more vaccines, anybody with an iota of intelligence will try to look back at the entire issue . There are two tiers of immunity, lymphatic and cellular. Vaccines can not reach the cellular level, only acquaintance with the naturally occurring disease can. Vaccines adversely affect the entire lymphatic system as is evident from the epidemic increase in cases of the "common cold", the flu and other flu like illnesses in vaccinated populations. And these viruses via vaccines do not come alone, they have to be processed, there has to be a medium, there have to be decontaminants. All chemicals used in these processes are potent and studied poisons. 2. What happens if we are not vaccinated? ---------------------------- What happens if we are not vaccinated? We are exposed to live bacteria or viruses via the environment. We catch the disease if our immune system is weak, then survive blessed with lifelong immunity or die. That is, not everybody will catch the disease and from among those not all will be maimed or loose their lives. The same thing occurs among vaccinated populations also. Not all will develop immunity, some will catch the disease despite even raised antibody titers. What is of concern is that some will catch the disease if they are vaccinated which they otherwise would not have suffered. The person whose immune system is weak and comes down with the disease suffers only the bacteria or virus he is exposed to naturally. The vaccinated person, on the other hand, also has to deal with vaccine ingredients, heavy metals, neurotoxins, carcinogens, immunosuppressants, contaminated human and animal serum, besides the delivery dangers like problems during injection. It is well known that it takes 20 developing years for the entire protection system around the brain and nervous system to develop. I do not really know how we can inject infants with known neurotoxins and expect they will emerge unscathed. The naturally infected person has to deal with the lone virus or bacteria, the vaccinated child with many different strains of various bacteria and viruses against which it has been vaccinated. The dangers of multiple vaccines are not yet studied. Vaccines do not strengthen the immunity. They compromise it. It is natural exposure to disease that strengthens the immune system. Children who suffer natural diseases in childhood grow up to be healthy adults at all levels. 3. Bacteria and viruses vs immunity. -------------- Since Pasteur the whole of medical science has concentrated purely on the role of bacteria and viruses as the cause of disease. This has been a very costly mistake, as the medical world is acutely aware. Today we question the role of the tuberculosis bacteria in causing TB, the HIV in causing AIDS. We do not yet know about the other bacteria/viruses and their role in disease as no satisfactory studies have ever been exposed to public scrutiny. For a virus or bacteria to cause disease; (as per common sense, not Koch's postulates. Virologists have long forgotten the KPs) 1. It must be present prior to the disease symptoms occuring. TB, typhoid etc fail this test. 2. Exposure to the virus by artificial means should cause the disease. Proved to be false. 3. Killing the virus/bacteria should result in symptoms disappearing. The truth is illnesses drag along long after bacteria and viruses are (needlessly?) killed. If we take the above factors sincerely into consideration I dare say the virus/bacteria theory will fall flat on its face. So that leaves us with weakened immunity. I think today there is enough anecdotal evidence to show that strengthening immunity alone suffices in preventing diseases. This should have been thought of long back when it was proved that not all people exposed to virus/bacteria developed the disease. When can the immune system be compromised? This can be due to; 1. Predisposition to certain diseases in the family, 2. Lack of nutrition, care, exercise, 3. Poverty, of course, 4. Lack of hygiene/sanitation, 5. Contaminated, unhealthy water and environment, 6. Mental state and emotional environment. (A happy person never catches a cold), 7. Exposure to vaccines, antibiotics, chemotherapy, radiation and AIDS "therapy". Thus the emphasis on virus/bacteria have resulted in sidelining all the above factors, as acknowledged by many an article in both the JIMA and IP. 4. What do we know about the immune system? -------------------------------- This brings us to the next question. What do we know about the immune system? Precious little to be frank. So how can we be excused if we tamper with it via vaccines? Again the knowledge about the role of viruses and bacteria in normal body processes is changing. Today, thanks to genetic engineers, we know that we cannot survive without the ubiquitous bacteria and viruses. We know that they serve complex functions. We know that they interact with the environment and change accordingly. We also know that viruses are not living entities. They are merely genetic information enclosed within fat or protein coating and they disintegrate after their purpose is served. 5. Lack of research into acute illnessess. --------------------- The moment a vaccine is invented, the focus shifts away from the disease it "prevents". Let us talk about polio. We have not advanced much as to how we should tackle and treat fully developed polio cases and also what may be the other relevant factors behind polio besides the imagined virus. Polio has been with us since times immemorial. Why did the epidemic occur? It has been discussed in medical journals that this could have been due to the spread of CNS poisons like farm pesticides and home insecticides. This factor is not even discussed while considering polio which is a disease of the CNS. 6. Awareness about the full impact of vaccines. While considering the OPV for example we are talking of only vaccine induced polio as an adverse effect. We are not talking about other vaccine adverse effects like cancer (by the presence of SV40 in the vaccine), autoimmune disorders, GBS, enteric disorders, other nervous disorders, myalgias etc that could be caused due to the vaccine. Thus while considering a vaccine ALL adverse effects should be considered, and also the changing face of the disease being vaccinated against, for example polio morphing into aseptic meningitis etc. Again, vaccines induce mental and emotional changes, a fact not yet mentioned anywhere. It is only when all factors are considered that we can take a sane decision on the issue of vaccinations. 7. Nature of epidemics. ------------------------------- Unless man made, epidemics come and go. We have seen this in case of plague as well as Spanish Influenza, both not covered by vaccines. All epidemics have a pattern, they start slowly, quickly achieve a peak, flatten out, and then start receeding, to disappear eventually (the bell graph). The small pox epidemic was curbed by stopping vaccines as every vaccine researcher knows. So what is the guarantee that we are not extending the epidemics and making them a permanent feature through the use of vaccines? Thus if we consider the whole situation the case against vaccines becomes very strong. Let us shift our attention towards strengthening the immnune system and related issues instead of wasting precious time, effort and resources on vaccines. There is no safe vaccine, what is injected affects all, more or less, sooner or later. "Every Child Counts", yes. But for the sake of protecting their health and interests, not for the purpose of vaccinating them. Wishing you a very Happy New Year, I remain, Yours faithfully, Jagannath Chatterjee Health & Human Rights Activist, www.manitham.net www.loksatta.org cc: Other participating doctors.Vaccination procedures are a politically motivated non-science, whose practitioners are only interested in injecting multitudes of vaccines without much interest or care as to their effects. Data collection on reactions to vaccines is only paid lip service, and the obvious ineffectiveness of vaccines to prevent diseases is glossed over. The fact that natural infectious diseases have beneficial effect on the maturation and development of the immune system is ignored or deliberately suppressed. Consequently, parents of small children and any potential recipients of vaccines and any orthodox medications should be wary of any member of the medical establishment extolling the non-existent virtues of vaccination. - Viera Scheibner, Ph.D. Sponsored Link Mortgage rates as low as 4.625% - $150,000 loan for $579 a month.
