Guest guest
DR. LEO REBELLO urges Indian Health Minister to take next Logical Step to Ban Vaccines Concerned with the growing Obesity, Indian Health Minister, Dr. Ambumani Ramadoss, has finally decided to do the following : - 1.. Ban all smoking scenes in films. Yes, because those scenes affect the young, impressionable minds. When I was on the Indian Film Censor Board I used to scrupulously ensure that unrelated smoking scenes were deleted. If villain smokes, the message is clear, smoking is bad. If hero smokes, smoking is glorified. 2.. Celebs should stop endorsing aerated drinks. Infact, they should campaign against them. This is what I have been saying for a long time. 3.. Stop selling junk food and colas from school and college canteens. Presto, I have been at it for over a decade, ever since one school in Bombay had invited me as their Chief Guest for "Graduation Day and Awards Function" and cola and junk food was served to me and other guests from school canteen. I did not touch it and then in my speech I had admonished the school PTA and they had immediately taken note of my suggestion. Thereafter, I passionately took this issue up whenever I spoke to students, parents and teachers. 4.. Everyone should stop drinking colas, with or without pesticides. Now the Health Minister is talking sense. 5.. Make yoga and health education mandatory in schools. My 10 Commandments of Health should be included in all high school text books, because they cover everything briefly and succinctly. Now the Health Minister should concentrate on OPVs, other Vaccinations (mercury-laced or not) and introduce safer, cheaper and effective Homeopathic, Veggie, Blood and Urine Vaccines. For details Dr. Ramadoss should read my book AIDS AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE which was given to him personally in August, 2006, in Toronto, during the XVI International AIDS Conference.
