Guest guest
I had 4 teeth pulled for braces, then 4 wisdom teeth pulled so I have a lot of back teeth gone. When I was getting braces my parents have great insurance. A dentist filled all my back teeth with insurance fraud. My baby dentist and orthodontist both said I didn't have a single cavity. That was when I was 17. I'm now 42 and have all the mercury fillings removed. The white fillings weren't were anything and now there is decay under them all. I had a root canal on one with post and core for a cap about 7 months ago. I noticed and abscess above it. Now they said bacteria is in it and beside it. Another dentist said they didn't seal it well. This tooth can be seen when I smile. They said the root canal will have to be redone. I also have 4 others I need post, core and root canal and crown on. Would you allow all these root canals or pull the teeth? Thanks and please write ASAP..I'm starting to have pain and don't want this infection and bacteria to spread to my brain etc...What would you do? I'm gargling collodial silver and taking penicillin vk thanks Kim Thanks KimKimber's Kritters, Dog & Exotic Animal Rescue-Sanctuarywe're a 501©(3) Rescue- Donations & supplies are tax deductible and greatly appreciated
Guest guest
Hm - if you decide to keep your teeth it will always be an ongoing expense, time consuming & painful - it will never end - not until you have them all out and dentures put in. Having dreaded this all my life I had all my teeth out 9 months ago and realise I have finished with dentists for life - and with toothache and everything connected with teeth for this life-time - my dentures cannot be told from my own teeth as far as looks are concerned and lets face it having them all out and dentures straight in means you can loose weight for the next 3 or 4 months when you can only eat soup or drinks - but the choice is yours - I opted to have them out without anaesthetic and did not take the Valium as recommended by my dentist because I needed to drive myself home again - he was young and skilful - I had not been to him before and will not need to go again - I had him do the job because I was told he was good and I liked him - I felt no pain at all and he was very quick - he was horrified that I had taken nothing - the dentures fitted well and only needed minor adjustments after 4 weeks when the swelling had subsided. Imagine - never any pain again and no more dentists for the rest of your life OR On-going pain and constant escalating expense and medication in the attempt to save what's left and jeopardising your health in the process HTH Jane - musicgirl1993 Saturday, January 13, 2007 2:42 PM Re: [HealthyIndia]root canals ...need advice asap ???
