Guest guest
I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager. Everyone told me not to worry because this would pass when I got older however this was not be the case. I have tried so many vitamins, supplements and pharmaceutical drugs. Some of a pharmaceutical drugs worked during the period I was taking them but stopped working soon after I stop taking them. Other drugs had unpleasant side-effects. In the end the dermatologists did not know what they were talking about. They told me it was impossible for my diet to affect my skin. What a load. Last year for the first time in my 28 year life I had almost clear skin and this was due to the change in my diet. If anyone ever tells you the diet has no role in acne they are lying or ignorance. I completely cut out all nuts with the exception of peanuts. I also cut out chocolate and all dairy products. I check every single label on every product to make sure that they contain no milk solids or dairy products. I even go as far as to check number additives. After two weeks I started noticing a difference. After one month my skin began to be come really clear. It was fantastic although I still find to this day that it is difficult not to eat things I love so much like chocolate , ice cream and pizza. Sometimes I do slip up on my diet but I have now found many substitutes using soya, goats cheese, sheep's cheese and various other products. My skin is and 95% improved but still not perfect. I am certain that something is malfunctioning in the way processed food or that I have some kind of food allergy. I believe that the consumption of dairy products is not the direct cause of my acne. I believe that my system is overloaded with trying to process toxins in my body and when I eat something which is heavy for a human system to process that my system simply cannot cope so my skin is called in to help with the elimination of toxins. I believe that the skin is the second largest organ of toxins elimination in the body. What I really want to know is there any body out there who can tell me what is going on with my system. What is the reason that stopping dairy products makes my skin beautiful?
Guest guest
I am sorry about the acne problem but I thought this site was for rosacea. Acne and rosacea are two very different things. I hope there is help for him but he may be confusing acne for a more serious condition like rosacea. I hope he continues to eat healthy and seek out help for himself. Try reading Nicholas Perricone's books...maybe that will be of some help with the acne. Even bring the book to the dermatologist when requesting that he let you try some things Dr. Perricone sugguests. --- wrote: > I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager. > Everyone told me > not to worry because this would pass when I got > older however this > was not be the case. Guest guest
Welcome You would benefit by following the protocols for this group. Pasteurized homongenized dairy products are difficult to digest and end up congesting the body. You may find my prior post on this topic of interest here [url="http://health./message/24"] You can use your creativity to make better versions of foods you like. You can put dried figs, dates, carob powder, and honey into a food processor to make a chocolate alternative. This is sold commercially in the health food store under the Govindas brand. It is called the fig date bliss bar. Link here http://govinda.websitecandy.com You can make pizza from whole wheat flour, soy or rice cheese, and vegetarian meat. A basic recipe is in the book Heavens Banquet by Miriam Hospodar. All the best OneLove > I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager. > Everyone told me > not to worry because this would pass when I got > older however this > was not be the case.
