Guest guest
Hey guys, I started my 1st Liver Cleanse last week. I think it went fairly well. I followed everything precisely. I did have problems with my stomach after drinking the grapefruit and olive oil mixture. I laid down at 10 pm like the book suggests. I think about a few hours later I felt a bit nauseous. I then decide to speak to a friend for a few hours because I couldn't sleep and it helped me, to not feel sick. I finished speaking to my friend at 5am and a little later I vomited some of the Grapefruit mixture. At 6 am I had to drink the Epsom salts, I only took one gulp and then vomited it out again. I waited a little while and drank the rest of it. This was torture A little later on I had to drink the last glass of Epsom salt mixture. I was really dreading this and I still felt nauseous but didn't want to give up. I drank all the mixture very slowly. After the last sip, I vomited all the liquid. I was fairly upset because I thought I ruined the whole cleanse. At 11am I had a bowel movement. I did not get the watery bowel movement. It did look a bit odd and it was very little. At 3.50pm I then had a very green watery bowel and I saw a few odd bits floating on the top. Some were green and was similar to what the liver cleanse book describes. Even though it wasn't a lot, I was still happy that something came out. I had a few more watery bowel movements with gallstones. I do feel a lot better already. I have so much more energy now. My face has improved a bit too. I don't flush as much as I did. I'm sure it will come back but I'm positive the more cleanses I do, the better I will feel. Onelove, I understand the reason for feeling sick due to the grapefruit mixture as it mentions this in the book. But do you know why I may have felt sick due to the Epsom salts? I'm fairly petite (5'3 " tall and weight 7 1/2 stones - 105 Ibs), so could it be that this mixture was just too much for me? I really loathe the taste of this solution. It's so horrid. Has anyone got any recommendations on how to improve the taste? Someone suggested that I put the salts in the fridge. Due to now being allowed to drink anything chilled or cold for the Liver cleanse, I decided not to do this. On the 26th of this month, I plan to do an Ayurvedic cleanse and I will probably do another liver cleanse a fortnight after the Ayurvedic cleanse. All the vomiting, not sleeping, not eating after 2pm etc. etc. is really worth it to me. Take care Mani
Guest guest
Hi Mani Congratulations on your first cleanse although challenging. Make sure to do a pre colonic or colema to clear the large intestine of congestion. This will prevent vomiting. You might try reducing the volume of the liquids due to your size. I use to very much dislike the epsom salts water due its bitter taste, but I have become use to it. Try holding your breath when you drink it to avoid the taste. Also rinse your mouth with fresh water and drink a little fresh water afterwards to remove the taste.
