Guest guest
Hello everyone I am well into the living cleansing process now, having completed 5 cleanses, with fewer stones being expelled each time, but no change in the Rosacea yet - I don't expect there to be until atleast the 6th cleanse, as Andreas Moritz states in his book. I have been withdrawing from anti-depressant medication and have now stopped it completely so as not to interfere with the healing process. One consequence of this has been insomnia - awaking at 4am and unable to return to sleep. The cleanses tend to re-inforce this cycle, as I find it difficult to sleep during the cleanse. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, any suggested natural remedies for insomnia? (I have tried valerian before with no success) Best wishes Steve UK
Guest guest
Hi Steve, I find the amino acid L-Ornithine (or ornithine)makes for a good sleep. Take it only at bedtime. Also -- since you're in the UK, something I pick up there is Nelson's Nocturna. It's a homeopathic. I get it at Boots. Also good for sleeping! Good luck, PC
Guest guest
Hi PC Thanks for those suggestions. I wonder if it is deficiency in this amino acid that caused the insomnia? I'll track it down in the health store. Steve , " pink_cat_6 " <fminyc@i...> wrote: > Hi Steve, > > I find the amino acid L-Ornithine (or ornithine)makes for a good > sleep. Guest guest
Steve: Re: insomnia I find my sleep is more disturbed (waking up) when I drink coffee. I go on and off coffee all the time... something always get me started on it again. I try try and try to keep of coffee. Love it, but it doesn't love me. I have done a lot of reading on insomnia. There's a lot of info out there, a lot of ideas on how to sleep better. A lot of authorities believe #1 cause of sleep problems is stressful life we live. Another thing I found that helped was turning the face of the clock so I couldn't see it (psychological trick)... too, Dr Andrew Weil says he believes the rays from clock are unhealthy. Guest guest
Hi Steve Congratulations on all your cleansing work! I know it will benefit you over time. Regarding insomnia, there have been times during the liver cleanse when the movement of congestion woke me up. However, I did not have a problem going back to sleep. I would suggest looking at the two pages on insomnia in Ayurvedic Healing by Dr. David Frawley. There are numerous factors and treatments listed. All the best OneLove Steve Sharp <steve_sharp12 wrote: > Hello everyone > > I am well into the living cleansing process now, > having completed 5 > cleanses, with fewer stones being expelled each > time, but no change > in the Rosacea yet - I don't expect there to be > until atleast the 6th > cleanse, as Andreas Moritz states in his book. > > I have been withdrawing from anti-depressant > medication and have now > stopped it completely so as not to interfere with > the healing > process.
