Guest guest
HI OneLove, Ick. Today is day 4 of my Ayruvedic Cleanse (this is the third time I'm doing it). After I drank my ghee, I felt pretty sick this morning. It passed over, but it wasn't nice; also, I felt hot. Wonder what's going on? Could it be the summer heat just making the inner heat more resistant? Otherwise it's going fine. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks a lot! Guest guest
Hi PC It is hard for me to guess exactly what the situation is without diagnosis. One guess is excess kapha (water element) in the stomach. Add more kapha (ghee) and the congestion would make you feel nauseous. Over time, internal cleansing will rebalance the system. Guest guest
Hi OneLove, That's very interesting: excess Kapha in the stomach leading to nausea with the (in my case) addition of ghee. I can see that -- because the first day the ghee goes down well, the second day there's just a tingle, the third day it gets harder. I assume this is Kapha building up. You can't fool mother nature, and that's all there is to it. Thanks very much. I don't *know* what happens, but I do understand.
