The following link will take you to a Yoga related that focuses on

keeping separate the force of *guru* from the guru-vehicle, the man or woman who

helps link the student to the *teacher within* or the general *dispeller of

darkness* (guru) that pervades all universes and is available equally to all.

 

Many yoga related guru-vehicles tend to fall into the trap of taking on personal

accord and personal worship in their role, and this can significantly hamper

understanding and progression for the student. Some people would have it no

other way in their *religion/yoga* and that is fine for those it works for (and

for the time it does), but for those interested in a more purely enacted path

principles, it might be wise to be aware of the schools that do not adhere to

personal worship and those that do.
