It is good that you have asked my credentials. I have done my post-graduation

(M.D.) in Ayurvedic Medicine (KAYACHIKITSA) under Mumbai University in 1991 and

have been practising Ayurveda since then.

I have my Ayurvedic hospital where we admit patients and perform all types of

Ayurvedic treatments viz. Panchkarma, Kshar-sutra / karma, Agnikarma besides

regular Ayurvedic consultations and medicinal treatments. I am also Honorary

Lecturer and Consultant in a reputed Ayurvedic College

No, I have not studied Unani system of medicine. It is a totally different

branch of Indian Medicine as categorised by Indian Govt.

Yes, I was fortunate to study under stalwart gurus like Vd.Lele, Vd.Antarkar,

Vd.Jalukar, Vd.Vaidya, Vd.Sharmaji to name a few.

If you want to know the original Ayurveda, you will have to read the basic

scriptures like Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Sangraha /

Hrudaya. You get versions in English, Hindi and Marathi as far as I know.
