Guest guest
mail_manu_uram The problem With Ayurvedic treatment is the part of tall claims and adventurism by treating doctors as well as blind faith and magical beliefs of patients surrendering to Ayurvedic treatments. Ayurveda is a systematic and logical medical science. Parkinsonism comes under the disease KAMPAVATA classified under VATA-VYAADHI ie.disorders of VATA. Generally such disorders should be treated within one year of their occurance if we have to get any noticable relief / cure by Ayurvedic treatments. However patients are more inclined to allopathic / modern medicine in the initial stages and when those medicines stop showing any specific results or the patient starts developing resistance / complications / side-effects to those medicines, then patients turn to Ayurveda. In your case, the patient referred is suffering from Parkinsonism since last 17 years. Only palliative action that Ayurveda can offer is by reducing the rigidity of muscles and may be some speech problem thro' Panchkarma procedures like SNEHAN and NASYA. The general VATA element may be dealt with Panchkarma procedure called BASTI. Do not expect total cure in this stage. Palliative and Ameliorative actions of Ayurvedic treatments can only be the limited scope. Hence do not rely on any false promises of any Ayurvedic doctor. Trying to make the life of the suffering patient to a bearable and tolerable extent could be in itself a appreciable achievement. I have been watching her health situation going bad everyday. She has been taking allopathic medicine since dignosed & currently she taking very high dosage of allopathic medicine, which scares us. We tried almost every type of medication starting with acupressure, acupuncture, tibetian & ayurvedic but as of now we are unsuccessful. During the course we consulted an ayurvedic doctors in Gujrat (Dr. Mukesh Paneri), he has many claims of curing Parkinson cases & with no wrong feeling I would like to mention our case, after his medication as suggested with both side reviews for 8-9 months she got very bad piles(looks like was too hot) and no change in her condition. <snip>
