Tony, what is the purpose of these tests? Is there a possibility that

someone suspects a medicinal value, or is it simple curiousity?

To All British Animal Lovers

Recreational Drugs such as ecstasy,

cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines are

being tested on animals in British

Universities. The usefulness of this

testing is questionable due to the

physiological differences between animals

and humans. The harmful effects of these

drugs has been well documented in human studies.

This government has already banned animal

research into tobacco and alcohol. Please

insist that this ban is widened to include

recreational drugs. It is immoral and a

waste of Taxpayers money. (I have been given

a figure of £10 million) This money would

be better spent in improving drug rehabilitation centres.

Thank You
