Guest guest
The following email was received by moderators of this group in response to http://health.ayurveda/message/10649 especially with regards to the moderator post script. If anything this proves the need for more people helping with moderation of group messages as it is not possible for only 2 people to verify each and every message and especially to check for plaigiarism. Since moderators have approved the posting of the plaigiariser we reproduce the email sent to us by a alert member Mr. Todd Caldecott in its entirety. Also we appeal for more members to help us with moderation to avoid further incidents like this. Comments from Dr. Rahul will be most welcome. Cybervaidya _ ahh, i see my BS detector is in good working order! i was intrigued by the idea that an ayurvedic physician recommends immunizations, but then i find that dr. rahul is perhaps at best an unrepentant " copy-and-paster " http://www.growingwell.com/bchild/vaccination1.htm http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/-imunization-Schedules.htm to what degree can we comment on dr. rahul's " gold medal " expertise? at the very least, writing his own web material is definitely NOT his probing a little closer, one finds that ALL of the material i checked on dr. rahul's site is taken from another with credit or citation see: http://www.motherherbs.com/abelmoschus-moschatus.html http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/Abelmoschus-Moschatus.htm http://www.motherherbs.com/history-of-herbs.html http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/history-of-ayurvedic-herbs.htm http://www.aarogya.com/Complementary/Ayurveda/origin.asp http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/ayurveda.htm http://www.ayurvediccollege.com/why.html http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/why-ayurveda.htm http://www.ayurveda-herbs.com/ayurveda-diet.htm http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/Ayurvedic-Diet.htm http://www.aarogya.com/Complementary/Meditation/ http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/Meditation.htm http://www.aarogya.com/Complementary/Naturopathy/ http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/Naturopathy.htm there is nothing wrong with self-promotion but this is nothing other than blatant deception best... todd _ ok, i DO have better things to do, but this takes the cake stealing other practitioner's case histories??? see dr. rahul's site: http://www.drrahulgupta.page.tl/achievements.htm and compare with: http://www.ayurvedamrita.com/casestudies.htm Caldecott _____

Vagbhata was a bit of a " copy-and-paster " too! Cheers, Gerald
Guest guest
Dear Gerald, I do not agaree with you. Vagbhata was a 100% copy and paster. Dr Rahul is a bit copy and paster. Vagbhata wrote this small old book some 5000 years back. Dr Rahul's is the ultra modern website. Vagbhata has himself announced his copying in the beginning of his book. Dr Rahul's work of copying has been highlighted by some of his friends. Vagbhata blended the same science of Ayurveda told by two different persons. Dr Rahul is trying to blend two different sciences, one from India & the other from the modern world. This work is not possible in the near future, I think.
