Guest guest
Namaste' I have several students who will be traveling to India in Jan/Feb of 2008 and are interested in practicing Ayurveda, Panch-karma, and gaining experience. Most of these students will all be beginner level students, who understand the fundamentals and basics of Ayurveda, but don't have practical experience. Some will be advanced naturopathic and MD's from the states Others will be Yoga/pranayama/Ayurveda focused. They will be coming from the USA and all have various interests. I have several clinics and hospitals available for study already but am looking to broaden the possibilities. Basic requirements: 1. Good number of clients daily 2. Ability to complete hands on practice once Skill level is competent 3. Good English (communication is important) 4. Safe environment for US students to travel and work in. 5. Ayurveda based clinics that provide, diagnosis, treatment, & follow up care 6. Yoga/Pranayama instructors who are willing to teach the truth of Ayurveda, Culture and Background If you feel you would like to host students at your facility, please email me your: 1. Clinic informaiton 2. Web site if available 3. Your Education and information 4. Specialties performed in your clinic 5. Approximate costs on per week basis 6. Any other information you feel is necessary thank you for your interest. Kimberly
Guest guest
Dear Kimberly, Ours is a group of M.D. doctors of Ayurvedic and Yoga in Pune (Maharashtra state). We are specialized in Ayurveda and yoga. students from various countries come to us frequently for various courses. We also design specific courses as per student’s background, knowledge of him/her about Ayurveda, the purpose to study Ayurveda and the duration he/she is going to spend with us. The quantum of patients is higher and the Panchakarma and the Keralian therapeutics are also carried out accordingly. So the students can get more of practical knowledge and we think it is the most important, as when these students go back to their country, they can review the theoretical part, but cannot review the practical aspect. We ask the students to do actual procedure and guide them accordingly to build their confidence. We give personal attention to every student so as to deliver authentic Ayurvedic science. We all have traveled abroad several times for propagation of Ayurveda. As we are familiar with students from various countries, there won't be any communication gap. Pune city is accredited as one of the best city in India as far as law and order is concerned. Pune police has reputation of being second best in India after Mumbai. The climate as well as social atmosphere is very safe and that's why number of foreign students are highest in Pune city. Various procedures and specialties performed in our clinic are as follows- 1. All Panchakarma procedures 2. Variuos Kerala based procedures like Chavetti, Kizi,Thalodal etc. 3. Yoga 4. Pranayama 5. Sports medicine 6. Marma science 7. Panchabhautic treatment 8. Ayurvedic massage 9. ayurvedic Diet and nutrition etc. The tuition fees are 150 Euro per week. (approx. 36 working hours). It includes only tuition fees. Accommodation, food and traveling expenses should be borne by the students. We will help students for these facilities. If you need any other clarification, kindly let me know the same.
