Thankyou for your response - yes - my Teacher also has this tight knit

procedure for behaviours in the ashram, which constantly brings one up

against one's own restrictions and limitations, and eventually beyond them.

Remember the two books " Using your brain for a Change " and " Change your mind

and keep the Change " ? - so useful in even the titles - your response also

brought to mind my own response to a patient I have at the moment who is

hysterical in her own devastation at the loss of her thumb and index finger

in a motor vehicle accident and i have to change her dressings on this

daily and attempt to by-pass her emotionalism and help her transform her

extreme distress. I find myself breathing mantra into her wounds, especially

as the thumb graft is not very stable as yet - and today she was coming

around to changing her response, was able to look me in the eye and even

laugh at times and I was then able to have her breathe into her hand instead

of the defiant rejection she was offering previously. Such exciting work.

.. NLP like all systems that

> can actually create change in human beings - toward the better - is a

> system that replaces the disease forming habitual pattern with a new

> healthier pattern. <snip>
