Guest guest
Bhastrika is to breath slowly to fill up the lungs as much as possible and then slowly exhale it completely. When finished exhaling, start all over and again. It should take two to three seconds for inhaling and the same time for exhaling. Thus one round takes 4 to 6 seconds. Start doing Bhastrika for 3 to 5 minutes. Then go over to Kapaalbhaati by inhaling normally to the full and then let it quickly come out from the nostrils suddenly. When you are throwing out the breath, naturally, the lower part of stomach or abdomen will get pulled in. Then breath in again normally and push it out as before. Thus, you can do this 40 to 60 times each minute. Kapaalbhaati must be done longer say, for a minimum of ten minutes daily, morning and evening to get full results as it also throws all your diseases out of the window, bit by bit. My round cysts in the arms of chick pea size have disappeared within two months without my knowing it. So also, it oxygenates every cell of the body. Oxygenated blood and cells arrest the growth of cancer cells and even kills them over a period of time. Hence, cancer need not be treated as a terminal disease provided one is prepared to do kapaalbhaati and other pranayams over a prolonged period till cancer is cured or substantially suppressed. There are several such cases that are well documented in the recently published book titled " Yog in synergy with medical science " compiled and edited by Acharya Balkishan of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar (India) Email: Divyayoga Wishing everyone good health, S.
