Guest guest
hi shirish perhaps you can explain the difference between plain old white sugar and mishri, and specifically, how mishri has more minerals or nutrients than the other as far as i can tell, mishri is made from refined white sugar and would have no more minerals than anything else see: http://www.sugarindia.com/candy.htm chinese yellow rock sugar might have a few minerals, but no more than brown sugar, and would hardly be a good source minerals compared to any other whole food rocky candy was developed in the laboratories of the persian and arabic physicians it is on par with a pharmaceutical product and should be kept where it was originally stored when it was developed, well-secured and locked inside an apothecary cabinet, used ONLY as a medicine, not as a food Caldecott, Dip. On the other hand, the difference between them is more due to ordered crystaline structure and large crystal size obtained by slow crystalization. To empasize this, comparison with water structre obtained by subjecting it to music (Ref Masru Emoto) was provided. If you have stretched the comparison between crstal salt and iodized salt to candy sugar and refined sugar (to the difference between their mineral/nutrients contents), author apologises for his improper comparison. The apparent taste, satisfaction has something to do with Electromagnetic energy field of every substance and its harmony with our own field, as pointed out in an article (Message #12085) cited by Jane, if read along with other two citations. That is also the reason, Pitta likes sweet taste and Kapha likes pungent. Evryone is trying to balance his distance from equilibrium. Crystaline structure perfection is related to energy in a minimum entropy state, as science states. In metals as impurities are reduced, larger crystals form, with more ductility, pliability, workability etc. In iron, as impurities are added, alloys form, hardness, yield point and strength is increased at the cost of ductility, toughness. author wishes to compare this as transformation from satvic nature to tamasik one. Everything in nature has one or more of three gunas, provided we interpret properly and try to look at everything from spiritual angle. Electromagnetic theories offer a simple vehicle to assess spirituality in terms of science, even diseased states as distorted fields. Being a off topic subject, period.
